Resin Bangle and Ring Workshop

Private Studio, Underwood
Class and Kit - $240
Learn the basics of how to cast with quick curing resin. You will cast 2 bangles, a ring and a variety of smaller items which can later be turned into coordinating jewellery. In class you will have time to complete one bangle whilst the other pieces can be finished at home.
Class kit (full fee) includes resin, pigments, Krafty Lady bangle mould of your choice, a copy of Marie Browning's Easy Cast Resin Jewelry book, measuring cups, stirrers, all safety equipment, wet/dry sandpapers and comprehensive class notes, all yours to keep.

This workshop is a wonderful introduction to the world of resin and shows you how much run resin is. You'll create a variety of different pieces of jewellery and come away with a whole lot more ideas than we can possibly fit into the workshop.
Class kit (full fee) includes epoxy resin, UV resin, jewellery mould, mould release and conditoner, a copy of Marie Browning's Easy Cast Resin Jewelry book, measuring cups, stirrers, all safety equipment, wet/dry sandpapers and comprehensive class notes, all yours to keep.

This is a Mill Lane Studio original design from my Vessels and Vials series - a stunning piece of jewellery that is sure to draw many admiring comments. Learn how to make your own faux perfume bottle necklace. I will share with you my tips and techniques for how to construct your bottle and how to create secure loops that will make your jewellery piece solid. You will need to bring along or buy a set of jewellery making tools: two flat nose (or chain nose) pliers, round nose pliers and a flush cutter. These items are essential.
