Feathered Nest mixed media book
Get back to nature and create a book celebrating our feathered friends. This 3D mixed media book features layers and layers of imagery and utilises peep holes and transparencies to create depth in each of the pages.. We'll be creating the book from scratch using a Sizzix die for our pages and then embellishing and painting using a variety of materials to create our very own little feathered nests, complete with miniature eggs.

Krafty Lady Templates
Let’s get creative with Krafty Lady templates. Using a precut plastic template we’ll create cards with a frame. The template is great for creating collage cards and we’ll be using it with a variety of techniques to create backgrounds and frames ready for decorating with Krafty Lady moulds. The template is yours to keep and is suitable for both cardmaking and scrapbooking projects. |
Water Lily Gift Box and Marbled Pen
Come along and do two 1 hour mini classes and learn how to put together this pretty Dragonfly and Water Lily gift box and also learn how to create your own marbled pens. You'll be using the new Basic Grey Doiley Papers, Krafty Lady Art Moulds, Pinata Alcohol Inks and crystal beads. BCC Art Bites Program - Resin Bangle Workshop
This workshop is run under the Brisbane City Council Art Bites Program and is only available to residents of Brisbane City Council.

Friendly Plastic - Bauble Trio Card

This class is an introduction to the wonderful world of Friendly Plastic. Friendly Plastic is a versatile modelling medium which can be used in a variety of crafts but is particularly suitable for paper crafting. Learn the basic heating methods and techniques of working with Friendly Plastic and create some gorgeous Christmas baubles to decorate the front of a card. This is a Mill Lane Studio original design from my Vessels and Vials series - a stunning piece of jewellery that is sure to draw many admiring comments. Create a card and gift in one! We’ll be using the fabulous Kutalicious range to create a pair of earrings. Kutalicious is a local Australian manufacturer with a fantastic range of mirrored, clear and coloured acrylic shapes. Using the mirrored bauble shapes you’ll make a simple, yet eye catching pair of earrings that the recipient can wear but when removed from the card, it can be proudly displayed as it still looks complete. No previous jewellery making experience is necessary. |

In this fun class you will learn how to make a basic cylinder bead shape and how to turn it into a lumpy, bumpy, dotty and spotty work of art. You will learn how to form beads, add decorative elements, my preferred methods for sealing them and then how to turn your beads into a unique, one of a kind dazzling bracelet using your choice of colours.

This class is an introduction to the world of Friendly Plastic where you will learn 3 different techniques using the heat gun method to soften the Friendly Plastic: stamping on Friendly Plastic, marbling it and how to cut it using cookie cutters.
